Wow...

If ever there was a way to totally kill the vibe of a what started off as a catchy song, you've discovered it. Good music though. I'm sure many others will enjoy this more. Just not me...

All glory to the Peptotrippin

Man, songs like this definitely keep me humbled. I think I've got some good stuff and then people like you make stuff difficult. Gotta step my game up :)

Peptotrippin responds:

Haha, thank you.

Not Bad.

The instruments were a little unbalanced. Certain ones were just too loud and really messed up the quality of what is actually a good song. That's about my only gripe though. Good job.

Spazbunny responds:

well...thats why we named it obscurity. it wasnt intended to be like that, but for some reason with the instrument that we used, when we layered it it caused what sounded like mass confusion, but actually rhthmically made sense, so we kept it instead of going with our original idea because we liked it so much...but thanks for the review and keep checking back for more posts, i'll probably be putting some more stuff on in the next 2 weeks or so.

Nice.

Real laid back and atmospheric. I like.

Bozdyke responds:

thnx... i inteded to create a smooth atmosphere ... I m glad that you like it...
but can you explain the 1.5 average?? I dont understand

Sweet...

This is cool. It has a certain character that kept me listening. It's a got a simple, yet frantic quality to it. I enjoyed it.

DmNt responds:

Thanks.

Needs work.

The vision is there and I really felt what you were trying to do, but the execution was sloppy. The lack of timekeeping really messed this one up. 80's music was a lot more mechanical and simple. So maybe if it wasn't so cluttered it would be much easier on the ears. Try doing less next time if you wanna give it another shot. I suggest listening to Kenny Loggins or Genesis if you haven't already done so. Good luck.

ihuman responds:

Thanks. This is...my earliest work. It was THE first song I ever made in a multitrack with an awful soundcard and an original 80's synth. My timing was off, it's totally done without any loops, I don't think I used a metronome either lol :) This song is respectfully 3 years old now, It's always needed lyrics. The most unfortunate thing is that I can't bring up a master copy to master the individual tracks any better because I had a huge data crash and lost all the master copies of my 200+ songs. Lesson...Backup your stuff regularly I learnt the very hard way. This is a response to all 3 reviews. Thanks for your time!

This is the real thing.

I'm gonna try not to repeat what everyone else has been saying. This is something I'd expect from a fairly seasoned Trance artist. Something in your sound just stands out. There's a line between good and excellence. This song has crossed that line towards the latter in my opinion.

Winterwind-NS responds:

that was nicely put
thanks buddy, love the username

eh?

I'll assume this was just a joke. I chuckled a bit so, mission accomplished I guess.

trashcanman responds:

:) <--- this is me.

This made me smile. Very, very nice work here. Certain chords were a little iffy, but the transitions were smooth. The 8-bit sound was clever. It probably wouldn't have been as interesting if it didn't have that sound. Good stuff. Keep it up.

itsameyayo responds:

Definitely, I will keep the good work up :)

-Yeah, one of the chords bothered me, but it had a nice transition to it despite the sound, so what the heck! Take a risk, right? :P

-Thanks for the review!
