Very well written

This is a very emotional and moving composition. You've illustrated the story you explained in the description beautifully. My only problem with the song was there was some major distortion throughout the piece in the piano. Especially when there was a lot going on. A little EQ'ing will fix that. Other than that, don't change a thing. It's gorgeous!

Thank you so much for your comments and vote. The original didn't have any distortion in it, so I don't know what happened. Thanks again for the thoughts.

I agree with MaximuMMaximuS

But it definitely isn't bad. I think it could use a few more chord changes. Around 1:36 you pretty much got the idea. Some other effects would have been nice as well. Compression, reverb, etc. Not a bad song though.

!!!!!

All I have to say is I really, really wish this were longer. It made me smile and bob my head like a kid in a toy store. The melody was lively and upbeat and the 8-bit synth you had in there was the icing on the cake. Awesome work you've made here.

Not much to say

As far as criticism goes, it sounds like game over music to me. I guess the fact it doesn't really resolve at the end just makes it sound more tragic, like the journey ended when it wasn't supposed to.

Really good arrangement.

Some of the instruments were a little weird sounding, like the Guitar sounding thing at the beginning. But that's just me being nitpicky. You did an excellent job with this song as it is one of my favorite songs in the Earthbound series. Definitely deserves a lot more attention.

Not bad at all.

It sounded real good, but from 0:15-0:26 it got really cluttered. and then had this abrupt shift at 0:27. I'm not sure if that was intentional but it kind of threw off the groove. It's a really good loop though, but sometimes less is more.

Very nice!

Definitely unique. I tried to follow the beat, which I'm usually pretty good at, but I couldn't. I don't know about the others but I enjoy hearing odd time signatures. You found that balance that makes songs like this real interesting. Songs that use too much of it tend to sound convoluted, and end up sounding confusing just for the sake of being confusing. But I enjoyed this song. It was smooth and energetic. The solo is also pretty well written. You managed to make it not sound extremely mechanical. Trying to make an improvised sound can be difficult. So you definitely earned my 5.

Pretty good

I didn't like the kick too much, yet at the same time I liked it because I had never heard a kick like before. Sounded like a poorly tuned bass drum. The melody in the middle part was pretty nice.
Personally, I think the song didn't sound exciting enough. It just seemed kind of dry.Try adding some more effects, and a bassline. Really nailing that hardstyle sound is pretty tough (I know, I've tried.) But judging from this song, sounds like you're headed in the right direction.

agnryfaic responds:

Thanks. Yes, it was a preset kick from Hydra, but I tweaked it alot untill I got that kick. I dunno, I kinda liked it.

And yes, I think I currently lack the skill to make a song really epic, I can make it sound good, or nice, but I still lack that finishing touch, you know?

Thanks for pointing that out. Holla ;)

All things chill...

...have joined forces to make this song. I love it. Nice, smooth motion. Deep , calming bass line, and that theremin sound at the end couldn't be more appropriate. You've done well.

Not bad at all.

I like the kick you used. The background chords that come in at 0:40 sound a little off-key though. The lead synth sounded really cool too. I'd like to hear the rest some day.

Rawmin responds:

Hehe, thanks and, today is that day!
